Big Hand Alehouse

Big Hand packs a Big Punch with a friendly welcome and great beer from their very own brewery …

The Big Hand offering for Chester Food and Drink Week is awesome. A Pie and a Pint.

A custodial pie made in HMP Berwyn in Wrexham by the inmates themselves, served with a pint of Big Hands very own Spectre.
£7 for a pie and a pint
£12.50 for a pie and a pint with chips and peas.

I’ll definitely be in for that one 😊.

Ring O Bells

A great quality venue and one of our best Great Cheshire Pubs. Set in the picturesque village of Christleton, The Ring O Bells is a lovely pub restaurant serving award winning food, and it has a great outside space too.

We recommend; Their Fish & Chips – Beer Battered Haddock, Beef Dripping Hand Cut Chips, Mushy Peas & Tartare Sauce with Chip Shop” Curry Sauce.
Its legendary around these parts!

The Ship Inn

A beautiful independent venue in a stunning Chester location.

Lance and his team had only been open for two weeks after their stunning refurb (from 20th February to 6th March) when they had to close for lockdown.

This has always been a very special place. Being independently owned for as long as I can remember, The Ship has always sailed over in Handbridge, overlooking the River Dee and Edgar’s Field – the perfect place for the perfect pub. And now you can enjoy those fabulous views with their stunning new bi-folding windows on the first floor. I love the way that beautiful part of Chester has been brought right into the venue complete with a gentle breeze from the river, its perfect!

We recommend; Their Sunday roast – definitely one of the best in the city.
